The Bournemouth Community Co-working and Creativity Hub represents an innovative initiative aimed at addressing the complex challenges of mental health and social inequality within the Bournemouth community. Our project is driven by a commitment to actively involve community members in the design process, fostering creativity, meaningful social opportunities, and shared ownership of space.
Drawing on cross-disciplinary collaboration and innovative spatial agency practices, the hub will serve as a vibrant nexus where freelance artists and residents converge to collaborate, innovate, and thrive. Through research-driven methods and extensive community engagement, we will redefine traditional design approaches to emphasize social value and inclusivity.
At the heart of our project is the establishment of a co-working facility designed to support creatives and bridge community gaps.
