Romantic Silhouettes
Interior Design
We love how the phrase “romanticise your life” is inspiring interior design, bringing soft, romantic silhouettes to various styles from coastal to maximal. This trend feels luxurious and celebrates life’s simple pleasures, like a cozy coffee nook or a sunlit chair, adding warmth and charm to any space.
Design:We’re loving the cozy corner designed by Emily of Via110 Design carved out in her living room.
Saturated Colours
Interior Design
While there’s a time and place for muted pastels, we love seeing rich, jewel-box colours like earthy, forest greens, chocolate browns, and crimson reds like oxblood, black cherry, merlot, and burgundy. These not-so-muted colours are finding their way into interior design again, and one of our favourite ways to apply them is to colour-drench a room.

Western Cowboy
Interior Design
We’re loving the laidback country-esque aesthetic of elevated western design; think Ralph Lauren meets Carhartt and a quiet cottage garden. The key elements of this design trend are a rough and tumble mindset, organic materials, a return to nature, worn woods, American workwear but elevated, durability, leathers and hides, ropes and tassels.

The subtle floral and plaid pattern of the table cloth is the perfect example of quiet country living.
Colour Blocking
Interior Design
Colour-blocking has been having a moment in fashion for some time, but we’re loving utilising it in interior design.

Inspired by the Sea
Interior Design
Rather than rattan and nautical stripes, we’re loving the heavier nods to seaside living in the use of timeless coastal materials and objects like seashells, mesh netting, fish forms, and vintage fishing tools and buoys. There’s a heavy tinge of Americana in this design style that feels classic and understated.
Embellishments
Interior Design
Think decorative when it comes to finishing touches on furniture and styling pieces, as well as solid, part-of-the-room design choices like countertop edge details. We’re loving incorporating more artful edging, like the bullnose detail on the kitchen countertop. In furniture, we’re loving fringe, embroidery, tassels and scallops.

Seasonal Surprises
Interior Design
Another way we’re excited to incorporate color into design in 2025 is by an element of seasonal surprise, i.e. deep hues in the summertime like a dark floral pillow, and lighter tones in the winter, like sage green and cream. Winter whites have always been a thing, but we’re excited to bring it to life in the coming year.
Pattern Drenching
Interior Design
We’re going to be seeing a lot of fun and bold design elements in 2025 and one we’re really excited about it pattern-drenching interiors. It’s something I’ve always wanted a client to give us free reign on. While it’s still a work in progress to fully accept this design trend, we have dabbled with it a bit in terms of unexpected pattern in a few of our designs.
